Trump Moves to Centralise AI Regulation

President Donald Trump announced on Monday that he plans to strip states of the authority to regulate the rapidly growing AI industry, insisting that the strategy is essential for the United States to retain global leadership.

In a post on Truth Social, he said, “There must be only one rulebook if we are going to continue to lead in AI,” as he revealed an executive order aimed at preventing state-level oversight of artificial intelligence.
