Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Igor Tudor to serve as interim manager until the end of the season.
The 47-year-old Croatian arrives just days after the dismissal of Thomas Frank, who was sacked following a disastrous run of only two wins in 17 matches.
Tudor is expected to be in place by Monday, when the squad returns to training after a short break.
The former Croatia defender most recently managed Juventus but was dismissed in October following an eight-match winless streak.

However, Spurs fans may find hope in his earlier track record; he famously steered Juventus into a Champions League spot last season after a stellar start.
Tudor now faces the daunting task of stabilising a Spurs side sitting just five points above the Premier League relegation zone.
By opting for an interim solution, Tottenham appears to be following the recent “caretaker” model seen at Manchester United. This allows the club time to scout a permanent successor, with former boss Mauricio Pochettino rumoured to be a top candidate once his World Cup duties with the United States conclude this summer.
