Tunisia Plans to Lift COVID-19 Curfew

Tunisian President Kais Saied has announced the lifting of the nightly curfew imposed against COVID-19 from Saturday

The decision, announced by the presidency in a statement on Friday came after health authorities said they continued to see a drop in the number of infections.

Tunisian COVID-19 cases spiked sharply in July but have since fallen as the country has carried out a vaccination campaign.
