Türkiye confirmed the deaths of all 20 personnel aboard a Turkish C-130 military cargo plane that crashed in eastern Georgia on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

The plane went down near Sighnaghi, approximately five kilometres from the border with Azerbaijan.

Georgian air traffic control noted the aircraft disappeared from radar without transmitting a distress signal.

The cause of the crash remains unknown, though unverified eyewitness footage published by Azerbaijani media reportedly showed the plane spinning horizontally moments before impact.
