The United States expects to gain “complete” control of Iranian airspace in the coming hours, the White House said on Wednesday, the fifth day of US-Israeli operations targeting Iran.

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said, “We expect to have complete and total dominance over Iranian airspace in the coming hours.”

Earlier, U.S. Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth said the U.S. and Israel “will have complete control of Iranian skies, uncontested airspace,” though he did not provide a specific timeline.
