Ukrainian authorities announced Tuesday the apprehension of seven individuals, including five teenagers, suspected of planning sabotage attacks for Russia.
This marks the latest in a series of youth arrests related to the three-year conflict.
Among those detained are a 14-year-old girl accused of preparing explosives to target a Ukrainian soldier and two 14-year-old boys suspected of attempting to bomb a police car.

Ukraine’s SBU secret service stated these “Russian agents” were recruited via Telegram channels promising “easy money” and were allegedly preparing homemade explosive devices for attacks on military and law enforcement personnel.
Both Moscow and Kyiv frequently accuse each other of recruiting and grooming civilians, particularly financially vulnerable teenagers, through social media to carry out or coordinate sabotage. If found guilty, the suspects face severe penalties, ranging from 12 years to life in prison.
