Italian club Juventus dismissed coach Igor Tudor on Monday Juventus following a 1-0 loss to Lazio over the weekend, which left them with only five points from their last five games.

Massimiliano Brambilla, the men’s first team coach, will lead the team in the upcoming match against Udinese on Wednesday, as announced by the Turin club.

The 47-year-old Tudor, a former Croatia international centre-back, had played for Juventus during his career and succeeded Thiago Motta as manager in March.

The team has not secured a victory since September 10 and is on an eight-match winless streak, failing to score in their last four games.

Tudor’s overall record at Juventus includes 10 wins, eight draws, and six defeats. This represents one of the club’s poorest performances in recent times, despite a busy summer transfer window where they invested 130 million euros (151 million dollars).

New signings included wingers Francisco Conceicao, Nico Gonzalez, and Edon Zhegrova, along with centre-backs Lloyd Kelly and Piere Kalu. A striker, Lois Openda, was brought in on loan, and Jonathan David was signed on a free transfer.

According to Italian media reports, Juventus is interested in appointing former Napoli and Italy coach Luciano Spalletti as their new manager. Spalletti was let go by the Italian federation in June.
