A military transport plane crashed into a residential neighbourhood outside the capital of Sudan, killing 46 people, the state media office in Khartoum reported Wednesday.
“After a final tally, the number of martyrs reached 46, with 10 injured,” the office said in a statement issued on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, regarding the disaster that occurred Tuesday night.
At least 19 deaths had already been recorded by the army-affiliated health ministry.
