US Announces Death of 7th Service Member in Iran War

The United States military announced on Sunday that a service member stationed in Saudi Arabia has died after sustaining injuries during an Iranian attack, marking the seventh American combat fatality since the conflict began.

United States Central Command, which oversees American forces across the Middle East, said in a statement that the service member died on Saturday.

According to the command, the soldier succumbed to “injuries received during the Iranian regime’s initial attacks across the Middle East.”
