The United States Mission in Nigeria has launched the Mission Nigeria Visa Navigator, an online resource designed to help visa applicants find answers to frequently asked questions about US visas.
The platform was described as a tool that provides guidance on visa categories, application procedures, required documentation, interview processes, and typical issues encountered by applicants in a post on the mission’s X account on Tuesday.
The initiative will reduce misinformation and help applicants better understand the US visa process.
According to the mission, the Visa Navigator is part of ongoing efforts to improve transparency and provide accessible, accurate information to Nigerians seeking to travel to the United States for study, work, tourism, or other purposes.
“Applicants are encouraged to use the platform as a first point of reference before submitting visa applications or contacting consular offices,” the mission said.
The US Mission added that the Visa Navigator is intended to clarify and streamline the visa application process by providing reliable, up-to-date information.
