White House ‘Confident’ of Winning Court Battle Over Deportations

The White House declared Monday that it was “wholly confident” of succeeding in court after a judge ordered a hearing on the expulsion of suspected members of a Venezuelan gang under wartime legislation.

“This administration acted within the confines of the law,” Karoline Leavitt, the press secretary for President Donald Trump,  told reporters. “We are wholly confident that we are going to win this case in court.”
