American actress and comedian Whoopi Goldberg has denied connections with late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein after her name was mentioned in newly released files.
The Epstein files refer to court documents, flight logs, legal filings, and related material connected to Epstein, who was arrested in 2019 on federal charges related to sex trafficking.

An email mentioning her name surfaced in newly released Epstein files. In the email, someone said Goldberg needed a plane to travel to Monaco for a charity event and asked if Epstein wanted to offer his private jet.
“Whoopi Goldberg needs a plane to get to Monaco. John Lenoon’s Charity is paying for it. They dont want to charter so they are looking for private owners… I am sure the jet owner could attend the fete and get fuel reimbursed (otherwise if it is to be paid for, we’d love to know costs to factor in it for John. Obviously, the more money we keep, the more goes directly to the charity. Would you want to offer the GII),” the email read in part.

When the email resurfaced in the newly released files, the actor faced backlash from people who linked her with the late predator.
Goldberg addressed the speculations and maintained her innocence on Tuesday’s episode of The View.
“This is my point because when I tell you, people are trying to turn me into … I wasn’t his girlfriend, I wasn’t his friend. I was not only too old [for him], but it was at a time where this is just not — you used to have to have facts before you said stuff,” said Goldberg.
“People actually believe that I was with him. Honey, come on. Every man I’ve been with, you’ve known about him because either the Enquirer wrote about it. People wrote about this stuff. So, no.”
Several public figures have been mentioned in Epstein‑related documents over time because of travel logs or social connections. and they have faced backlash and scrutiny as a result. Some of the names include Prince Andrew and Donald Trump.
