You Can Silence Peaceful Protesters, But You Can’t Work Sincerely- 2face To Government

Nigerian music legend, 2Face is calling on the relevant authorities to identify what they stand for, and he asked them to understand why they decided to take on this responsibility to be leaders, leaving no Government official out of the backlash. He went ahead to tackled the Nigerian government over its attempts to suppress protests in the country. He also called on the relevant authorities to focus on delivering good governance and desist from committing so much energy and resources into ensuring that peaceful protesters no longer speak up.

”Its time for all of Nigerian governments to start focusing on actually doing good and sincere work instead of dedicating this massive amount of energy to silence PEACEFUL protesters. Make una give unaself brain small. PDP/APC! Plus all the special advisers! Plus senate and reps! What do u guys stand for? Why una choose this work? Why is protecting your power more important than making NIGERIA the GREATEST nation in the world. Oyibo dey use una dey laff una join.Penny wise pound foolish.”
2baba as he is fondly called, went ahead to appreciate Nigerians doing things all over the world, in different spheres of life.
”Mad love and maximum RESPECT to all young NIGERIANS doing big things globally. The list is endless. Music , nollywood , sports , Arts , literature, medical, IT. Every aspect. Na only our governments dey fall our hand. Every other government dey protect their people”

The Senior Pastor of the Daystar Christian Centre, Pastor Sam Adeyemi also adressed leaders. He said, ”Dear leader, human nature does not manage power well. When we have privileges, we tend to lose the capacity to empathize with those who don’t. Will we use power to protect our privileges or to make basic privileges available to the highest number?”
and he replied, ”This is the ultimate question for every person that leadership mantle has fallen upon”
