Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky said Friday that he was ready to meet Vladimir Putin face-to-face, provided Kyiv and its allies had agreed on a strategy for ending the conflict.
“I will meet with Russians—only one Russian guy, with Putin—only after we have a common plan with Trump, Europe,” Zelensky stated in English at the Munich Security Conference. “And we will sit down with Putin and end the war. Only in this scenario am I ready to meet.”
