At least 11 Palestinians were injured on Friday following Israeli military raids and settler assaults across multiple areas in the occupied West Bank, according to medics and local reports.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said two people were wounded by live fire during an Israeli raid in Kafr Aqab, north of Jerusalem — one was shot below the knee and another, a 17-year-old boy, in the foot.

Israeli forces reportedly stormed the town, chased several youths, and fired live ammunition and stun grenades, witnesses told the Palestinian news agency Wafa.

The incident came hours after Israeli forces killed a Palestinian man in Qabatiya, near Jenin. A day earlier, a child was also killed by Israeli fire while playing football in Ar-Rihiya, south of Hebron.

Separately, illegal Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian farmers in several towns, including Salem, Urif, Hawara, Qusra, Aqraba, and Qabalan, forcing them off their land and preventing olive harvesting. In Qabalan, four members of a Palestinian family were beaten and injured.

Settlers also torched farmland in Turmus Ayya and Abu Falah, north of Ramallah, and attacked families in Silwad, where five people were treated for injuries, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.

The Colonisation and Wall Resistance Commission reported that settlers carried out more than 7,100 assaults on Palestinians and their properties in the past two years, resulting in 34 deaths and the forced displacement of 33 Bedouin communities.

Local authorities say over 1,000 Palestinians have been killed, around 10,000 wounded, and more than 20,000 arrested, including 1,600 children, in the West Bank since the Gaza war began in October 2023.

In July, the International Court of Justice ruled that Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territory is illegal and called for the evacuation of all settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
