Carbon Transition Gets Deal Worth $1.6 Million For Seismic Data in Egypt

Carbon Transition ASA said Thursday that it entered into a deal for seismic data in the Gulf of Suez in Egypt worth $1.6 million.

The energy-transition investment company said the agreement will be recognized in the third quarter of 2022.

“Processing of the Gulf of Suez survey was only recently completed and we are encouraged to see that the first sale materialized this quickly,” the company said.

Carbon Transition said it expects to see significant sales from its library of seismic data from surveys in the Utsira area in the Norwegian North Sea and the Gulf of Suez in Egypt.
