Nigeria’s school for “Almajiri” graduates class of 2019
Nigeria currently has the highest number of out-of-school in the world (at least 10 million).
Fortunately, this school for “Almajiri” (street kids) in Kaduna is graduating its class of 2019 to help reverse the trend.
Abisoye Adedoyin Adeyiga holds a PhD in Languages and Media Studies and a Master’s in Education (English Language). Trained in digital marketing and investigative journalism, she is passionate about new media’s transformative power. She enjoys reading, traveling, and meaningful conversations.
