As the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season gears up for its second phase, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan has finalised the acquisition of five fresh talents to bolster their squad.
In a proactive move aimed at elevating their performance in the upcoming segment, the Gbenga Ogunbote-led technical team strategically enlisted these new recruits to inject vigor into the team.
Among the notable signings are Adewale Yusuf from Lobi Stars and left-back Ehibe Victor, who have joined the roster to fortify the defensive line.
In tandem with the influx of new blood, the Oluyole Warriors have concurrently confirmed the departure of six players from their ranks.
Leading the exodus is striker Kareem Ademola, who has inked a deal with Ceramical Cleopatra, an Egyptian club. Additionally, Anayor Ogbonna and goalkeeper Ovunda Darlintin bid farewell to the team.
Further departures include striker Emeka Obiora, winger Michael Eneruna, and center-back Ezeala Uche, who have all embarked on new journeys, with Uche notably linking up with Rangers International.
