OPEC Eyes Namibia for Potential Oil Sector Partnership

The Secretary General of the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Haitham Al Ghais is eager to partner with Namibia and assist the Southern African nation in its oil exertions and projects. 

Speaking on Wednesday via a pre-recorded message at an international energy conference held in Namibia, he shed light on the importance of Namibian oil and energy resources in meeting demand in future.

He encouraged investors to explore the numerous opportunities available in the Southern African country.

OPEC is apperceptive towards the potential of Namibia becoming the fourth largest oil producer in Africa by the next decade.
