Mohamed Salah has raised fresh speculation about his Liverpool future after a cryptic message on social media hinted at a potential exit. The Egyptian star later posted on X, “No matter what happens, I will never forget what scoring at Anfield feels like,” leading fans to question if he might be preparing to move on.
While Salah can begin talks with non-English clubs in January, Liverpool manager Arne Slot appeared unfazed by the contract situations of key players, including Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Trent Alexander-Arnold, whose contracts also end this season.
Slot emphasised that all three players are performing well, with ongoing discussions behind the scenes.
Salah, reportedly earning £350,000 per week, previously mentioned he hadn’t been approached for a new deal, adding fuel to the rumours surrounding his future at Liverpool.
