Diamond Platnumz to headline Kenyan Koroga Fest

Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platimuz is set to headline one of Kenya’s biggest music events, the Koroga Festival which would hold at Hell’s Gate National Park in Naivasha.

The event is slated to hold between Friday, February 14 and Saturday, February 15.

The first day of the festival will feature performances from Ochungulo Family, Nadia Mukami and recent Soundcity MVP winner, KhaligraphJones. The main event on Saturday will host H_art The Band, Mike Rua and continental sensation, Diamond Platnumz.

“The main aim of the festival is to attract both local and international tourists to the destination, promote the preservation of culture and sensitise the community on the importance of our natural habitats,” says Peter Kimani, the chairperson of Naivasha Love Festival, a major partner of the event.

“We also want to allow the attendees for adventure and sports tourism as well as market the floriculture and ecotourism in Naivasha.”

In 2018, Platinumz released his 18-track album “A Boy from Tandale” which featured an all-star cast of Ne-Yo, Rick Ross, Omarion, Vanessa Mdee, Tiwa Savage, P-Square, Flavour, Davido and others.
