Nigerians were left in darkness on Wednesday as the national power grid failed once again.
Since January 2024, the grid has collapsed on twelve occasions.
In October, the grid experienced three failures within a single week, leading to widespread outages and sparking outrage among Nigerians.

A tweet from Nigeria’s National Grid System reported that the latest collapse occurred at approximately 2:09 pm on Wednesday.
“A major grid setback has occurred, and restoration will commence,” the account stated.
