Firstbank Breaks Ground For Nigeria’s Tallest Eco-Friendly Headquarters

FirstBank, West Africa’s premier financial institution, has officially commenced the construction of its new 40-storey green-certified headquarters in Eko Atlantic City, Lagos. This state-of-the-art structure, set to be Nigeria’s tallest building, marks a significant step in the bank’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellence.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Olusegun Alebiosu, CEO of FirstBank Group, stated:

Designed with cutting-edge technology, the eco-friendly headquarters will significantly reduce operational costs while reinforcing FirstBank’s leadership in sustainable banking.

The groundbreaking event was graced by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), Senators, State Governors, Federal Ministers, and industry leaders, reaffirming FirstBank’s influence in the African financial sector.
