The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has commissioned the reconstructed 7.6km Eziama-Abba-Owerri-Nkworji Road in Nwangele Local Government Area, Imo State, on Thursday, March 6, 2025.
The completion of this road has significantly reduced travel time across Eziama-Abba and Owerri-Nkworji, while also contributing to suburban expansion and easing congestion in Owerri, the state capital. Connecting Nwangele and Isiala Mbano Local Government Areas, the project has enhanced accessibility and improved the socio-economic landscape of Imo State.
