President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended heartfelt congratulations to veteran broadcaster and Chief Executive of Biscom Communications, Prince Bisi Olatilo, as he marks 50 years of an illustrious career in broadcasting.
In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, the President praised Prince Olatilo for his unwavering dedication to national unity and development throughout his five-decade journey in the media industry.
Celebrating the milestone, President Tinubu commended the veteran media figure’s resilience, industrious spirit, and enduring passion for storytelling, which, he noted, has positively influenced audiences both within Nigeria and abroad.
The President also acknowledged Prince Olatilo’s wide-ranging contributions across various communication fields, including print media, advertising, public relations, and strategic development communication, applauding his significant impact.
In addition to the broadcasting anniversary, President Tinubu congratulated the veteran on the 25th anniversary of his popular programme, The Bisi Olatilo Show, describing it as a cultural mainstay that has become a household name.
He further highlighted Olatilo’s unique talent for multilingual broadcasting—fluent in Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo—praising it as an inspiration to aspiring media professionals and a valuable asset to national cohesion.
President Tinubu noted that the broadcaster’s accolades, including the prestigious Nigerian Media Merit Award, are a fitting recognition of his remarkable contributions.
Concluding his message, the President also celebrated Prince Olatilo’s 71st birthday, praying for his continued good health, longevity, and wisdom as he continues to serve Nigeria and humanity.
