Israel has received 940 shipments of weapons and military equipment from the United States since the recent Israeli invasion of Gaza in October 2023, according to a statement issued on Tuesday by Israel’s Ministry of Defence.
The ministry announced that the 800th aircraft involved in the extensive US-Israel airlift operation landed in Israel earlier that day. Since the start of the invasion, more than 90,000 tonnes of military supplies have reportedly been delivered via air and sea—specifically through 800 flights and around 140 maritime shipments.
The deliveries have included munitions, armoured vehicles, personal protective gear, and medical supplies, the ministry confirmed.
This significant flow of arms comes during reports of increasing tensions between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump.

Despite mounting international pressure for a ceasefire, Israel has continued its military bombardment on Gaza. Since October 2023, the death toll has surpassed 54,000 Palestinians, with the majority of victims reported to be women and children.
In November, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and former Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, accusing them of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Gaza.
Israel is also currently facing genocide charges at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) over its actions in the besieged Palestinian territory.
