Iran launched a swift retaliation on Friday night following Israeli strikes on its nuclear and military sites, with the Israeli military confirming that it detected dozens of missiles fired towards its territory.
In a series of statements posted on X, the Israeli military declared, “The Iranian attack is ongoing. Dozens of additional missiles were launched toward Israel,” adding, “All of Israel is under fire as Iran fires projectiles.”

Iranian state broadcaster Press TV announced the commencement of “Operation True Promise III,” claiming that missiles struck directly in Tel Aviv. Loud explosions were reported across central Israel shortly after air raid sirens sounded in the area, according to Israeli media.
The conflict escalated on Friday as Israel launched a military offensive targeting Iran’s nuclear and military infrastructure, resulting in the deaths of top Iranian military commanders and scientists. The strikes continued through Friday night, with major Iranian cities including Tehran, Natanz, Tabriz, and Isfahan sustaining significant attacks.
