President Trump Launches Luxury Perfume Line: ‘Victory 45-47’

The U.S. President Donald Trump has unveiled a new line of fragrances called “Victory 45-47,” designed for both men and women.

Trump announced the launch on his platform, Truth Social, writing:

“Trump Fragrances are here. They’re called ‘Victory 45-47’ because they’re all about Winning, Strength, and Success — for men and women. Get yourself a bottle, and don’t forget to get one for your loved ones too. Enjoy, have fun, and keep winning.”

The luxury perfumes, priced at $249, are described as “limited-edition,” “numbered,” and “collectible” items targeted at Trump supporters. The name “Victory 45-47” refers to Trump’s role as the 45th president and his ongoing bid to return as the 47th.

According to the official website, the women’s fragrance is described as:

“Celebrate in Trump style with Victory 47—a stunning new women’s fragrance inspired by President Trump’s historic win. With every spray, Victory 47 captures confidence, beauty, and unstoppable determination. A sophisticated, subtly feminine scent that’s your go-to signature for any occasion.”

The men’s cologne is promoted as:

“Featuring his iconic golden statue, Victory 47 blends rich, masculine notes with a refined, lasting finish. For men who lead with strength, confidence, and purpose—this is more than a cologne; it’s a celebration of resilience and success.”

Top notes of the men’s fragrance are Fougère Accord and Cardamom; middle note is Geranium; base notes are Amberwood and Woody Notes.

However, the product launch has faced strong backlash on social media, with many critics calling it “gross” and “poorly-timed.” Detractors accuse Trump of grifting, noting that this perfume is the latest in a long line of branded merchandise, including an $11,500 guitar, a $1,000 Bible, $499 smartphones, and $299 sneakers.

Though the Trump Fragrance website notes that:

“Trump Fragrances are not designed, manufactured, distributed or sold by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organisation, or any of their respective affiliates or principals,”

Many users have raised questions about the product’s legality and ethical implications.

Fox News contributor Jessica Tarlov posted on X (formerly Twitter):

“16 million Americans are about to lose their healthcare, but go buy my gross perfume…”

On fragrance review platform Fragrantica, the product pages were flooded with satirical and critical reviews. Some genuine reviews acknowledged the scent was “not bad” but “way, way, WAY overpriced,” with one user commenting, “This legit smells like something you could get at Ross for $26.”

Meanwhile, the U.S. Senate is working overtime to finalise amendments to Trump’s “big beautiful spending bill,” which includes controversial proposals such as tax reforms and significant cuts to Medicaid and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Lawmakers are pushing to meet Trump’s July 4 deadline for a final vote.
