NZ Edge South Africa by Three Runs 

New Zealand defeated South Africa by a narrow margin of three runs in the final of the Zimbabwe Twenty20 international tri-series at Harare Sports Club on Saturday.

New Zealand set a target of 180 runs for five wickets in their 20 overs, with key contributions from T. Seifert (30), D. Conway (47), and R. Ravindra (47). L. Ngidi was the pick of the South African bowlers, taking two wickets for 24 runs.

In response, South Africa fell just short, finishing their 20 overs at 177 for six wickets. L. Pretorius led their batting with 51 runs, supported by R. Hendricks (37) and D. Brevis (31). M. Henry was the best bowler for New Zealand, claiming two wickets for 19 runs.

South Africa had won the toss and elected to field first.
