Popular Nigerian comedian and reality TV star DeeOne has successfully completed his attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest solo stand-up comedy performance.

After receiving approval from Guinness World Records (GWR), DeeOne began his record attempt at midnight on October 2 and concluded it on Saturday, October 4, 2025, after performing for an impressive 52 hours and 42 minutes.

Speaking after the event, DeeOne said the challenge was aimed at motivating Nigerian youths and dreamers everywhere, reminding them that “no goal is too high to achieve.”

The marathon performance took place at Pallazzo in Ikeja, Lagos State, and drew several well-known Nigerian celebrities, including Pamilerin, Acapella, FunnyBone, Uche Maduagwu, Husband Material, EmmaOhMaGod, K-Solo, Constance Owoyemi, Akinolu Jekins, and Gbenga Adeyinka the 1st, among others.

DeeOne’s record-breaking attempt is now awaiting official verification by Guinness World Records.

The current record holder is American comedian Benny Elbows, who set the benchmark on  April 25, 2025 with a 40-hour, 16-minute, and 48-second performance.
