The ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐บ๐ธ FIFA World Cup 2026 is already rewriting the history books long before the first ball is kicked. In just the first 15 days of ticket sales, more than 150 million ticket requests poured in, making the tournament 30 times oversubscribed and confirming its status as the most anticipated and inclusive World Cup ever staged.
Fans from over 200 countries joined the rush, underlining footballโs unmatched global appeal and the unique excitement surrounding the first World Cup to be jointly hosted by Canada, Mexico, and the United States. The scale of demand offers a powerful snapshot of how deeply the game resonates across borders, cultures, and generations.
Organisers say the unprecedented interest reflects a shared global enthusiasm to be part of a historic moment in North America, where football will once again unite the world in a celebration of competition, culture, and collective passion.

“This overwhelming response from passionate fans is a true representation of how our game is loved globally – we are going to make history in North America when we bring the world together like never before in a celebration of unity and the best of football,” said FIFA president Gianni Infantino.
The Random Selection Draw Sales Phase remains open until 13 January 2026 at 11:00 ET (17:00 CET). During this phase, ticket requests are processed entirely at random, with no advantage given to early submissions. Importantly, a portion of tickets has been reserved for later sales phases to ensure continued access for fans worldwide.
In addition, Participating Member Associations (PMAs) are offering ticket opportunities directly to their supporters until 13 January 2026, in accordance with their own allocation rules and timelines.
For fans seeking premium experiences, official hospitality options and curated packages are also available, providing alternative ways to be part of footballโs biggest spectacle.
