Giannis Antetokounmpo stayed with the Milwaukee Bucks as the NBA trade deadline came and went, with the team delaying any moves until after the season.

The 31-year-old five-time All-Star and former MVP, who helped Milwaukee win the 2021 title and is in his 13th season with the Bucks, had drawn trade interest as Milwaukee sat at 20-29 midseason. He’s averaging 28.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game but remains out with a calf injury.

After the deadline, Antetokounmpo posted a message on X about legends drawing opportunities rather than chasing them, a nod to the current uncertainty around his future.

Milwaukee did execute a separate three-team swap, sending Cole Anthony and Amir Coffey to Phoenix for Nigel Hayes-Davis and Nick Richards; Richards then moved to Chicago, and Ousmane Dieng landed with the Bucks.

The Minnesota Timberwolves acquired Ayo Dosunmu from Chicago as part of that broader package, while Chicago received Rob Dillingham, Leonard Miller and four second-round picks.

The Golden State Warriors moved for Kristaps Porzingis, sending Jonathan Kuminga and Buddy Hield to Atlanta. Ja Morant stayed with Memphis, and Ivica Zubac moved from the Clippers to Indiana, along with Kobe Brown, in a deal that included multiple picks and reshuffled assets to Indiana as a Myles Turner replacement.
