I’ll Do Everything for Messi to Play World Cup – Scaloni

Argentina head coach Lionel Scaloni has said he will make every effort to ensure Lionel Messi features at the next Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) World Cup. 

According to remarks reported by  Italian sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, Scaloni said, “I’ll do everything possible for Messi to be there at the World Cup. I think for the good of football, he has to be there, but he’s the one who will decide.”

Messi, who currently plays for Inter Miami and is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in football history, has not confirmed whether he will participate in another World Cup following Argentina’s triumph at the 2022 edition.

Scaloni’s comments reflect both his hope and respect for Messi’s choice, showcasing the forward’s importance to Argentina and the global game.
