There was a heavy presence of security operatives around the Federal High Court complex in Kaduna on Wednesday. Traffic restrictions along nearby roads caused congestion for commuters.
His bail hearing was adjourned by Justice Rilwan Aikawa on Tuesday due to a series of legal developments between the defence and prosecution teams.
The Lead Defence Counsel, Adewole Iyamu, expressed optimism that the outcome of the April 14 bail hearing would be favourable.

The former Kaduna State Governor has been in the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) since February 19.
He was recently granted temporary release following the death of his mother, who died in Egypt following a brief illness.
Iyamu added that El-Rufai is expected to appear in the Federal High Court in Abuja on April 10 in a separate matter filed by the Department of State Services (DSS).
El-Rufai recently withdrew his N1bn fundamental rights enforcement suit against a magistrate in Abuja after concerns were raised over the proper identification of the second defendant.
