Spain striker Salma Paralluelo has joined French champions Lyon following the expiration of her Barcelona contract in June.
The 22-year-old triple World Cup winner arrives in France after a remarkable three-year spell with the Catalan club, where she tallied 72 goals across 131 appearances.
Her move directly strengthens Lyon’s attack, just two months after Paralluelo scored twice against them in Barcelona’s 4-0 Champions League final victory in Oslo.
During her time with Barcelona, Paralluelo built an impressive trophy cabinet featuring four Spanish league titles, three Copa de la Reina trophies, and three Champions League crowns.

Internationally, she has earned 41 senior caps for Spain, adding the 2023 senior World Cup title to her previous under-17 and under-20 world crowns.
Her signature headline-grabbing transfer comes amid a broader exodus of star talent from Barcelona, following the departures of team-mates Alexia Putellas, Mapi León, and Ona Batlle.
