Gritty medical drama “The Pitt” won the coveted Emmy for best drama series at a star-studded Hollywood ceremony on Monday.

The HBO Max hit capped off a dominant night by claiming its sixth statuette of 2026, beating out top contenders including “The Diplomat,” “The Gilded Age,” “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,” “Paradise,” “Pluribus,” “Slow Horses,” and “Your Friends & Neighbours.”
