After his inauguration, the governor thanked God and the people who supported his administration and entrusted him with another opportunity to lead Ekiti State.

He described the new tenure as another chapter built around purpose, progress and a stronger commitment to public service. He also said the renewed mandate comes with greater responsibility to meet residents’ expectations and consolidate the gains recorded during his first term.
“A new chapter, a renewed mandate, and a greater commitment to serve. I am deeply grateful to God and everyone who has believed in me and entrusted me with the privilege to serve once again. Today, we begin another journey of purpose, progress, and impact,” he said.
Oyebanji’s return to office has drawn attention to the priorities his administration will pursue over the next four years. These include economic development, infrastructure, education, healthcare, job creation and improved public services. His second term also offers the administration an opportunity to complete ongoing projects, introduce new programmes and strengthen policies targeted at improving living conditions across communities in Ekiti State.
