Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen and his girlfriend, Stefanie Ladewig, have welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Liora Audrey, his club Galatasaray announced on Thursday.

“Our Football A Team player Victor Osimhen and Stefanie have welcomed a baby girl into the world,” the Turkish side said in a social media post.

“We wish their newborn baby Liora Audrey a long, healthy, and happy life!”

The couple’s first daughter, Hailey, was born in October 2022. Ladewig, a Cameroonian-German model, reportedly began dating the 27-year-old forward in 2019 during his time at German Bundesliga club Wolfsburg.

The announcement follows local media reports earlier this month that Ladewig was involved in a three-vehicle road accident while heavily pregnant, from which she reportedly escaped unhurt.

Osimhen is now expected to feature for Galatasaray in their league fixture against T. Konyaspor on Friday.

He is currently in strong form, having scored twice in Monday’s Istanbul derby victory over Fenerbahce.

With eight goals in nine matches, he sits among the league’s joint-top scorers as Galatasaray lead the standings.
