Nigeria’s Terem Moffi Nails PSG with Last-Gasp Winner

Terem Moffi was an unknown Nigerian at Belgian club, Kortrijk before now, but since his move to the French Ligue 1 where he stars for Lorient, the attacker has caught the eye.

Against PSG on Sunday, Moffi came off the bench to score last-gasp match-winner against the giants.

The goal was Moffi’s sixth of the season and his fifth in as many games.

The former Riteriai of Lithuania attacker came on with half an hour left on the clock.

A shocking victory was nowhere near the cards for Le Parisiens but a well-worked ball at the death delivered a sucker punch against PSG.

The goal was enough to condemn PSG to second place, two points off table toppers, Lille.

Lorient, on their part are placed 18th, tied on points as 17th-placed Nantes, who have another Nigerian, Moses Simon on their cards.

On Friday, Samuel Kalu scored Bordeaux’s only goal in their 2-1 loss to Lyon.
