Nigerian attacker, Victor Osimhen continued from where he stopped with the Super Eagles as he took his rich vein of form to Italy where he scored against Crotone.
Partenopei defeated Crotone 4-3 with Lorenzo Insigne, Dries Mertens and Di Lorenzo all being on the scoresheet.
Osimhen’s compatriot, Simy Nwankwo was also on song grabbing two of his team’s three goals to increase his legendary tally with the club.
Simy is Crotone’s all-time top scorer and holds a cult hero status in the club. Osimhen joined Napoli during the summer in a big money move from Lille Metropole.
He has struggled for form and consistency this season, with Saturday’s goal being just his fourth of the season.
Simy has so far scored 15 goals in 29 appearances for Crotone as he has been an ever-present member of the squad.
