The Independent National Electoral Commission in Nigeria has introduced an online portal for registration.
The INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, made this known while briefing the press in Abuja.
This decision was taken by the Commission in order to resume Voters Education next week.
In a statement titled “Continuous Voter Registration: Media professionals, INEC agree to sensitize citizens,” the Chairman stated that the online registration will reduce the burden of long queues during CVR.
