Uganda Parliament Set to Regulate Use of Internet

The Ugandan Parliament has granted Kampala Central Lawmaker Mohammed Nsiriko permission to introduce a bill seeking to clamp down on matters of cyberbullying and internet misuse by issuing fines.

Ugandan Journalist Kimono Dorcas, who spoke with News Central, said no one has been prosecuted for cyberbullying and there are no statistics indicating the exact number of cases.
