Africa’s Millionaire Population to Increase

Africa is fast becoming a powerhouse of private wealth, as the continent experiences a rapid rise in the number of millionaires. Once viewed primarily as a region facing economic challenges, Africa is now establishing itself as one of the fastest-growing markets for high-net-worth individuals globally.

With a population exceeding 1.5 billion and an economy expected to reach $29 trillion by 2050, the continent is creating millionaires at a rate that rivals more established economies.

The recently released Africa Wealth Report 2025 by Henley & Partners and New World Wealth predicts a 65% increase in the number of African millionaires over the next decade.
