Bauchi State Governor Mohammed Dissolves Cabinet in North East Nigeria

The Governor of Bauchi State, Nigeria. Gov Bala Mohammed, has dissolved the State Executive Council according to a communique made public by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado

The dissolution is with immediate effect.

Among those affected the Secretary to the State Government, Sabi’u Baba; the Governor’s Chief of Staff, Ladan Salihu, 21 Commissioners, and Special Advisers.

In May, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State sacked the state’s 25 commissioners; the Secretary to the State Government, Chief of Staff in the Government House, the Senior Political Adviser, and some more.

Similarly, Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State sacked 20 Commissioners, retaining eight.
