Former World heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua was involved in a road accident on Monday in Makun, Ogun State, South West Nigeria.
Eyewitnesses report that the incident occurred along the busy Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
The vehicle carrying Joshua, a Lexus SUV with the number plate KRD 850 HN, reportedly collided with a stationary truck. The incident is still under investigation.

Two people reportedly died on the spot, while the boxer sustained minor injuries. The identities of the deceased have not yet been released.
The Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, confirmed the incident and said ambulances have been dispatched to the scene.
Traffic officials and local police have cordoned off the crash site as investigations into the cause of the collision continue.
The accident comes shortly after Joshua’s recent high-profile win against YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in Miami.
