Music producer and actor, Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been moved out of solitary confinement at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, where he is serving his prison sentence.

According to TMZ, sources with direct knowledge said the former rapper was placed in restricted housing after an alleged altercation with another inmate but has been returned to the general prison population.

The reported fight allegedly began after the inmate made disrespectful comments toward Combs. The exchange reportedly became physical, with the two men pushing and punching each other before prison staff intervened.

Combs was subsequently placed in solitary confinement while prison officials addressed the incident. Sources previously told TMZ that he managed to defend himself during the confrontation.

It remains unclear whether Combs will face any additional disciplinary action over the alleged fight.

Combs was arrested in 2024 following a federal investigation and multiple civil lawsuits. He was convicted in 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution but acquitted of racketeering and sex trafficking charges.

He was sentenced in October 2025 to 50 months in prison. His current federal release date is February 20, 2028.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons has not provided details about the reported incident, citing privacy, safety and security considerations surrounding individual inmates.
