Kenyan champions Gor Mahia lost 1-0 to Algeria’s NA Hussein Dey in a CAF Confederation Cup Group D clash played in Algiers on Sunday night.

Gor arrived in Algeria sitting top of the group and only needed to avoid defeat to stay top but where undone by a ninth minute Abderrahmane Yousfi strike.

The Kenyans now drop to second in the group with six points from four games, with NA Hussein Dey leading with seven.

In the group’s other game, Egyptian giants Zamalek beat Angola’s Petro Atletico by a solitary goal to move to third on five points while the Angolans remain bottom with four.
