Following the explosion of Hezbollah pagers and walkie-talkies and an Israeli strike on Beirut’s southern suburbs, approximately 5,000 people have been wounded in less than a week as a result of Israeli attacks.

This total represents about half of the overall count of wounded individuals, which stands at “10,000 to 11,000” over the course of nearly a year of cross-border confrontations between the Iran-backed Hezbollah group and Israel following the outbreak of the Gaza war.
