Naira Gains Strength Against Dollar in Black Market

The Naira gained against the dollar on Tuesday at the parallel foreign exchange market. According to Abubakar Alhasan, a Bureau de Change operator in Wuse Zone 4, Abuja, the Nigerian currency sold at N1,660 per dollar on Tuesday, up from N1,667 on Monday, indicating an increase of N7 against the dollar.

The Naira experienced a decline at the official market closing at N1,549.65 on Tuesday from N1,548.89.

It is worth noting that at the official market, there has been a steady decline of the Naira against the dollar over the past few days.
