The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced Wednesday, November 4, 2026, as the official start date for its 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream II Orientation Course.

In a statement released Friday, October 2,  NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations Caroline Embu confirmed management’s decision, noting that “The Exercise will be conducted in all 36 States and the FCT, Abuja.”

Prospective corps members must complete their on-camp registration within a tight three-day window.

Embu specified that “Registration of Corps Members will be held between Wednesday 4 and midnight of Friday, November 6.”

The formal initiation for participants follows immediately, as “the Swearing-in Ceremony will take place on Friday, November 6, 2026.”

The nationwide orientation programme will run for nearly three weeks across all state camps.

According to the scheme’s schedule, “the Closing Ceremony is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, November 24, 2026,” officially concluding the orientation phase for the batch.
